Passenger Freight Service Planning using logvrp

logvrp can solve different types of vehicle routing problems for multi-vehicle / fleet planning, route optimization and fleet management.

One of them is "Passenger freight services" or "Passenger transportation services".

Before you start to make your fleet plan, you may need to adjust some settings and read some documents about basic concepts of logvrp.

1. Starting the logvrp application

After you registered and sign in to logvrp, click "Start Application" button.

You will be redirected to logvrp web application.

While in logvrp application, if you want to return main menu, you can click on the link on the upper right of the window.

2. logvrp application settings

When you enter for the first time to logvrp, you may need to adjust some settings.

To adjust these settings, click the “Operations” menu, and select “Settings” sub-menu, then click the “Application” button.

The “Application Settings” window will appear:

“Capacity Unit” is important. “Capacity Unit” that is a standard load type of unit to be used in the application.

You should set as “Passenger” for passenger freight planning.

To save changes, please click the “Save” button.
